Safety Specifications

SAFETY OVERVIEW:

The FormulaSPEED2.0 was designed to exceed the Sports Car Club of America's strict safety requirements for their fastest class – Formula Atlantic.

The design team did this for two reasons. The first reason was to get the car up to the highest safety levels available in North America for a car of this nature.

The second reason was to get the car homologated for competition in SCCA events which would give owners more options of places to compete.

On January 14th, 2011 the SCCA accepted the FormulaSPEED2.0 into National Competition in the FA class.
